WSBL is USSSA Sanctioned

The WSBL is a USSSA sanctioned league and the individual teams need to fill out the attached form. Please fill out the USSSA form and e-mail the completed form to John Binek at jobsr11@sbcglobal.net. If you are mailing your 2009 WSBL Registration form and check ($350), please send the completed USSSA form along with your registration form to WSBL, P.O. Box # 4895, Oak Brook, IL. 60522-4895.

The USSSA sanctioning is an added benefit to our league teams as USSSA will be able to offer discounted team insurance, State and National Tournaments, and USSSA points and rankings for playing in the WSBL and the WSBL League Championship Tournaments in June. Please take a few minutes to complete the form and get it back to the league for processing thru USSSA.

WSBL Sponsor Form

The West Suburban Baseball League (WSBL) is a full and part-time travel baseball league for ages 9 thru 14 year olds playing throughout the Chicago suburbs. Over 60 teams participated in the WSBL’s inaugural season of 2007 and in 2008 we had over 160 teams. The WSBL’s enrollment in 2009 will peak well over 2,000 members and will continue to grow.

The WSBL provides teams an opportunity to play competitive baseball in a structured league with a spring/summer schedule. WSBL also hosts a mid-season All-Star Gala that is attended by over 1,200 players and families. And finally, the WSBL season concludes with a Championship Playoff, a year end single elimination playoff that includes every team with all final four teams receiving trophy and/or awards.

The WSBL also provides every child a WSBL T-shirts and each team is included on the WSBL league website (www.westsuburbanbaseballleague.com ). The WSBL also rents baseball fields, hires umpires, purchases equipment, host and maintain web sites, acquires legal and accounting services, etc.
